Rina Siongco, Globe's Head of Get Entertained Tribe,  says that online games have become part of young people's lives today and that Globe Games and Esports aims to support this industry by emphasizing the good it can bring to its stakeholders.

She continued that gaming can also bring out analytical skills from strategy games, and improved communication, and coordination among friends when playing. Moreover, it can also enable players to multitask, manage time, and finance effectively through Esports.

They are also combining these efforts through the Game Well Played campaign as it also supports the gaming industry.

Globe’s 'Game Well-Played' campaign bands together gamers of all levels from all over the country to “flex the good in gaming, ignite understanding and draw support for the gaming industry across the Philippines, says Globe

The Telco is doing this as part of its push for responsible gaming and is also in line with its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which stresses the role of infrastructure and innovation as essential drivers of economic growth and development under SDG No.9.

While most campaigns focus on the hyper-competitive side of esports, Globe chooses to educate and advocate for the positives and benefits that gaming actually brings, Rina Siongco added.

Apart from its own campaigns, the Telco is also closely working with its partners such as AcadArena which also shares the same goals.

Finally, the Globe Gamer Grounds platform was developed in collaboration with Telekom Malaysia and Swarmio Media to serve as a "gateway to good gaming." Its innovative products and tools enable all types of players to pursue sustainable and enjoyable gaming.
