The entire transportation chain can benefit from the contactless payment

Paymaya provided integrated solutions that encompass public transit, transport hubs, gas stations, and delivery services. It supports the order from the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

These government agencies are mandating transportation service providers to accept contactless payments in public transit. In this way, the spread of the COVID-19 virus can be curbed. President of PayMaya Shailesh Baidwan added,

When the DOTr and the LTFRB called for PayMaya to help deploy cashless payments in transportation back in May, we worked quickly with our partners to provide them with the necessary solutions and technologies to make this happen

Furthermore, Paymaya is discussing partnerships with air and water transport providers for them to accept cashless payments. As for the delivery service sector, the company is urging riders to use contactless QR payments.

Delivery heroes can utilize the cashless payment solution when they pay for their customer's orders at merchant stores or when they accept payments from their customers upon delivery.  Aside from safety, they can even get a chance to win a new Honda motorcycle from PayMaya.

In addition to that, they can enjoy perks like 100 percent cashback for their transactions when using QR code in partner stores. When they fuel up at gas stations such as Petron, Paymaya can give them as much as PHP discount per liter.

To install PayMaya for cashless payment, download the app Android or iOS then register for an account.
