Build Quality/Design

Backside

At the back of the Redmi Note10 are a glasstic panel with the Redmi branding, regulatory information, and the rear camera module.

Attractive build and design, no doubt!

This glasstic panel looks like glass from far away and up close, what gave it away is the feel when touching the panel. It is also one of the more fingerprint magnets we've ever encountered.

In front is the aforementioned 6.43-inch AMOLED panel that can go up to 1,100 nit brightness. The bezels are slim though the chin bezel is thicker than the top and the side bezels. On the upper middle part of the screen is the punch hole that houses the selfie camera.

It is protected by Corning's Corilla Glass 3. Oh, by the way, the phone also has an IP53 for protection against dust and water splashes.

Out of the box, the picture quality of the display is sharp, detailed, and vibrant while the text is crisp.

The Redmi Note 10 is unique in having proper stereo speakers.

In the Philippines, the Redmi Note 10 will come in 4GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB variants and will start at PHP 8,490. Seeing and holding the phone in-person surprised us because it looks and feels like a more expensive phone.

The AMOLED display is also eye-catching as aside from the bright maximum brightness, the colors are vibrant and the blacks are deep.

Overall, our first impressions of the new Redmi Note 10 is strong. Redmi continues to bring value for money devices and we can't way to run our full slew of tests on it.

Stay tuned for our full review that will come soon!
