The new vivo Y31s features a glass-looking back design in 3 different gradient colors (Ruby Red, Titanium Empty Grey, Monet) and the vivo V20 Pro-like square camera island with pyramid-aligned dual cam (13MP f/2.2 main camera and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor) + flash camera layout.
In the front, it boasts a 6.58-inch FHD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh ratio and a 90.61 percent screen-to-body ratio. But, it has the older type of waterfall-like notch housing the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera for selfies.
Under the hood, it packs some interesting specs. First, as mentioned, it runs with the 8nm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G Mobile Platform with up to 2.0GHz clock speed, Adreno 619 GPU, and an integrated Snapdragon X51 5G Model-RF system with support for mmWave and sub-6GHz global 5G.
This device also sports ample 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. For cameras, it has a large 5,000mAh cell with USB-C 18W fast charging support.
It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack slot, and Android 11 OS based on Funtouch OS 10.5 skin.
Clearly, this phone is not marketed as a camera phone but a budget 5G device with capable overall specs.
