Google to say goodbye Stadia!
Despite it being a great implementation of cloud gaming, Google did not see its expected gain of users for Stadia in its lifespan. To recap, Google Stadia allows you to game on any device via the cloud given that your internet speed can handle it. It comes with a wireless controller that you can connect to a TV, PC, or mobile device.
All Stadia hardware, games, and add-on content purchases made through the Google Store will be refunded by Google. Additionally, it states that the business is dedicated to the game industry and will make investments in new tools, technologies, and platforms to support artists, business partners, and cloud users.
Google has announced that it will employ the technology underpinning Stadia in a variety of projects, including those for YouTube, Google Play, and augmented reality (AR). Those who have been working on Stadia will move on to other initiatives inside the company.
The service will continue to be usable until January 18, 2023.
