Another news from Finnish company HMD Global as it announced its existing Nokia smartphones will receive Android 10 upgrades.

HMD Global is fast to provide latest operating system for its Nokia users as it vowed to equip its smartphones with Android 10.We are the only manufacturer 100 percent committed to having the latest Android across the entire portfolio, said HMD Global Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas.
Starting in the fourth quarter of 2019, HMD Global said Nokia 7.1, Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 9 PureView will be the first devices to have software updates.
Three smartphones - Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, and Nokia 7 Plus - are also expected to get the Android 10 by late fourth quarter or early first quarter of 2020, HMD Global said.
More devices under the Nokia brand will run Android 10, including Nokia 2.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 Plus, Nokia 8 Sirocco in the first quarter of 2020; and Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 1 in the second quarter of next year.
With a proven track record in delivering software updates fast, Nokia smartphones were the first whole portfolio to benefit from a 2-letter upgrade from Android Nougat to Android Oreo and then Android Pie. We were the fastest manufacturer to upgrade from Android Oreo to Android Pie across the range. And with today's roll out plan we look set to do it even faster for Android Pie to Android 10 upgrades.
